Golden yellow in the glass, this wine is effusive, with a fresh and vivid palate. The bouquet is full of enticing aromas of ripe green papaya, lime, freesia blossom and kiwi, while the palate exhibits a lively, bright mouthfeel with subtle flint and brackish notes and a lengthy finish.
2015 was a very warm vintage, marked by severe heat during veraison, stunting berry growth and resulting in very small berries which produced a firm tannin structure to frame rich fruit density. This old vine Cabernet has a dark garnet gem color and a generous nose of black currant, cherry, spice, desert herb and white pepper. The palate is plush and mouth filling, yet framed with silky, fine-grained tannins and lifting acidity. It has flavors of black cherry, coffee bean, herb, tobacco leaf and spice.
Tropical notes of juicy Satsuma ripe kiwi and mango are highlighted by aromas of candied lemon peel, apple blossom and refreshing minerality. The palate supports the nose, revealing the Stainless winemaking with its round, weighty mouthfeel. Crisp acidity and flavors of white nectarine, papaya and key lime pie round out the clean, lingering finish.

Hints of ripe green apple, warm honeysuckle, and white peppercorn lead to a pleasant finish with plenty of natural, lively acidity.
Each year we designate vineyard blocks of Bordeaux varietals to go into our rosé program. These blocks are then farmed only for rosé and hand-picked several weeks prior to our red wine harvest. The grapes are gently destemmed and pressed with no additional skin contact. The juice is settled, inoculated with a selection of aromatic yeast, and slowly fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel until dry. Thereafter the wine rests sur lie until bottling in early February.
In the tradition of the classic French rosés, ours is delicate and refreshing, pale in color, and bone-dry. Primarily Cabernet Franc, with small amounts of Petit Verdot for additional structure and Malbec for expressive fruitfulness, this wine exhibits flavors of peach, grapefruit, and papaya along with fresh herbs and minerality.
