Since the 1980s, when we planted our original eight-acre, narrow-spaced vineyard of Merlot in Carneros, we’ve produced a very special bottling of this rich and complex estate grown varietal each year. We are pleased to continue this tradition with the release of the current vintage.

Dark chocolate and sweet cherry pie greet the nose. On the palate, this wine begins lush and bright, with notes of strawberry and graham cracker crust. There’s a noticeable backbone of tobacco leaf which persists all the way to the finish, where some dark chocolate notes come to the fore. With fine tannins and juicy acidity, this wine covers all corners of the palate and is easy to savor.
